Ready to Come Back?

Are you ready to Come Back and earn your high school diploma? We are currently accepting new students for the fall. If you are interested, please click on the link below or go to our "How Do I Get Started?" page and follow the steps.

Please note: all interested students must complete the CBCS New Student Intent to Enroll Form on the "How Do I Get Started?" webpage to get you on the wait list. We will not longer be taking this information over the phone. This is to ensure we do not overlook your interest in our school and try to get you started as soon as possilbe.

​Who Are We?

Come Back Charter School, a charter school authorized by the Merced County Office of Education, is an independent study program for students 18 and older.​​

We offer:

  • An independent study format with flexible hours to accommodate work and day care responsibilities.
  • Individualized learning plans with a mix of online course work, presentations, and general instruction
  • College and Career readiness programs
  • Counseling services
