After School Student Education: Teamwork for Success​

The Merced County Office of Education (MCOE) was awarded a State of California After School Education and Safety (ASES) Grant and the 21st Century High School After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) Grant to implement after school programs at 46​ school sites in Merced County. This is a collaborative project between MCOE, school districts, and community organizations to coordinate, integrate, and enhance academic and enrichment opportunities for students.

Program Hours​
Programs operate each day at school dismissal until 6:00 pm. Schools dismising after 3:00 pm will operate for a minimum of 3 hours per day.

Who can attend?​
Program enrollment is open to all students in the school. The program services students in grade levels K-12, grade levels may vary by school site. Should enrollment exceed the program capacity, a waiting list is developed.​

Program Cost
The program is provided at NO COST to all participants.
